Oh my goodness! I’m so touched to be mentioned here. You are too kind. And congratulations on YOUR milestone. I enjoy coming here as yours is one of MY favorite blogs. You shake the dust off my liberal leanings, you help me to look at things in a different way and your stories, I find mesmerizing. Keep writing – ’cause I will always be here reading!

Steve, Jane, thank you for your praise. Knowing that people are reading and enjoying my words does help me keep returning to write more. It’s a little like group therapy, only none of us has to pay thousands and thousands into the bank account of any therapist :D

Thanks for the kind words and the plug, really appreciate it! And many congratulations on hitting the 50,000 mark. That really is impressive, but also very well deserved. This is always one of my ‘go to’ blogs and a shining example of how blogs need not be restricted to a particular niche or theme. Thank you also for being such a great commenter on mine and others blogs. I’m sure you have motivated many a blogger to continue writing. I know you have with me.

Wow. I’m really flattered – thank you so much! I’m just about to hit the 2000 mark and I am very chuffed with that as I’m constantly amazed that anyone finds anything interesting in my somewhat humdrum life. And as for the photography – has Abby been telling you about my photoitis?? Thanks again – and keep doing what YOU do too – I love to read it!

I just want to say a belated ‘thanks’ for mentioning my increasingly infrequent ramblings and for writing of them with such high praise. Between work and my personal life this term its been hard enough for me to read the blogs of others let alone update my own. I’m hoping that’s about to change.

At any rate, after an unexpected trip home to the USA to attend a funeral, catching up with the work I missed and classes I’d cancelled and then a fantastic adventure involving a catastrophic clutch failure while leading traffic up a steep hill on a narrow lane I’m venturing into cyberspace once again.

Reading through your postings that I’ve missed seems the perfect way to ease myself back into this strangely intimate digital world.

Hey Max, welcome back to cyberworld. Sorry to hear about your loss and workload, not to mention the clutch failure from hell. Look forward to reading all about your recent experiences, when you get time to write about them of course.
